Salema

Salema

Salema, a small fishing village, is a fishing port, with the central area of the beach being occupied by vessels and fishing gear, such as the covo or the hook.

It is possible to observe the return of the boats to the beach at the end of the work and to enjoy the result of the fishing in the restaurants of the village.

In Salema there are also ruins of a Roman “villa” and a fish cannery, which testifies to a long fishing tradition. The beach has a beautiful promenade and terraces overlooking the sea.
